I love writing and illustrating picture books – see Books section. New titles include Brian The Brave (written by Paul Stewart), Otter Barry Books April 2019, and King Otter, Simon & Schuster, June 2019.

I really enjoy inventing trails for museums too. I teach illustration to adults at Putney School of Art, as well as a group of under 5s once a week. I’m also a Visiting Lecturer on the MA Illustration programme at the University of Hertfordshire.

Rivers are my thing when I’m not working – I’m a conservation volunteer with the South East Rivers Trust, and I’ve been monitoring eels on the river Hogsmill with ZSL. See above for an extract from my comic diary on the slipperiness of eels! I’m also often to be found out on the river Thames in a coracle, skiff or punt, looking out for passing bats, cormorants and wagtails. I’m also learning to play Irish fiddle.

Hello, we met at Laydeez Do this evening. I love your work, your museum trails are gorgeous and the children’s books look lovely! Good to meet you and may see you at another meet up after Easter.
