I love doing events at festivals, bookshops and libraries. There’s nothing like reading a story to a live audience and getting children to join in! My sessions usually end with interactive storytelling and a craft or drawing activity too.
On Sunday 5th Feb I will be back at Stepping Into Stories in Herne Hill – you can book here.
I’ll also be doing a storytime at Foyles in Charing Cross Road at 3pm on Sunday 12th Feb – do come along!
I’ve done events at Bradford Literature Festival, Derby Book Festival, the Isle of Wight Literary Festival, Waveney Kids’ Book Festival in Southwold, Stepping Into Stories festival in Herne Hill, Petworth House, Somerset House and the Apple Store, as well as visits to some of my favourite independent bookshops such as Nomad Books, Pickled Pepper, Alligator’s Mouth, Tales on Moon Lane, Forum Books in Corbridge, and The Book Nook in Hove.
Thankyou to ace photographer Tricia from Portrayed Photography for the photos (and Southfields Library for the one on the right). If you need some portraits I can recommend Tricia thoroughly.
